Equinza Privacy Policy

We process account and profile data you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, identifier, emergency contact and club memberships. We also process bookings, lessons, messages, notifications and equestrian activity linked to your account.

Only if you opt in, Equinza records pseudonymous events such as consented first open, sign-up steps, feature use and PRO purchase. It uses a random installation ID and, after sign-in, a pseudonymous account identifier may link consented events to the funnel. We do not send your name, email, messages, location or advertising identifiers. Acquisition source is limited to approved categories and a constrained campaign label. You can withdraw consent in Settings → Privacy and data; Equinza stops collection and requests deletion of associated events. App Store and Google Play download reports are imported only as aggregate counts and are not linked to individuals. Event-level records are deleted after 13 months; platform dimensions are deleted after 13 months without activity.

When you start training, Equinza may use the device’s precise or approximate location while the app is open to show the map, record the route, calculate distance and speed, and save the activity. During an active protected ride, Equinza collects location while the app is in the background or the phone is locked to keep live tracking and send safety alerts. On iOS, force-quitting Equinza from the app switcher may stop tracking. This feature starts when you begin a protected ride and stops when you pause, finish or discard it. The route is shared with your club only if you enable club monitoring, and with other people only if you share the link. The camera is used only when you choose to scan a class check-in QR code.

We use data to provide the app, authenticate you, manage clubs and bookings, record training, provide safety features, send requested communications and protect the service. Processing is based on providing the service, consent where required and legitimate security interests.

We use technical providers including Supabase for authentication and storage, Expo for builds and notifications, Google Maps for Android maps, and Sentry for technical error and unexpected-crash reports. To monitor app stability, Equinza also records operational events and errors in its Supabase diagnostic systems. These records are linked to the authenticated account identifier and may include platform, app version and build, device model and operating system, screen or operation, authorized club, error code and status, network state, and duration. They do not contain GPS coordinates, message or document content, or raw exception text. Error reports sent to Sentry do not include the account identifier; they retain the error type and a sanitized technical stack trace, plus app version, device model and operating system. Error messages, including native exception text, are removed or redacted before Sentry stores them; IP addresses are also discarded. We do not attach account data, network requests, navigation breadcrumbs, screenshots, view hierarchies or memory to Sentry. Equinza does not use Sentry to collect GPS location, messages, documents, financial information or advertising identifiers.

We retain data while your account is active and for any additional period required by legal or security obligations. We apply access controls, encryption in transit and club data separation.

You can access and update your data in the app. You may also request access, correction, objection, restriction or portability at contact@arvency.com. Device permissions can be withdrawn in system settings.

You can permanently delete your account in Profile → Privacy and security → Delete account, or use equinza.com/en/delete-account. Deletion does not affect records we must retain by law.

We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date is shown on this page.
